Last Friday I had my first Skakeology® shake. Despite the fact that I wore 1/4 of it (always make sure you screw on the cap before you start shaking it up…words to live by) I liked it. To be honest at first the smell of the Greenberry threw me off for a minute, but after I got used to it I enjoyed it. On Saturday I tried the Mocha recipe (8oz iced coffee, 4oz water, nutmeg, cinnamon, 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology® and ice). It was fantastic! Very tasty!
Now, my current fitness goals have been to cut my body fat percent down to between 5-7%. I don’t have a lot of weight to lose, I’m currently around 9-11% body fat, I just want to finally get rid of that stubborn fat around my mid-section. I share that goal with you because since last Friday I have had a Shakeology® shake to replace lunch every day. Last Friday morning I weighed in at 191.0lbs. This morning when I weighed in I was 186.0. Other than the daily meal replacement I have done nothing different. I did work out 5 days doing P90X, but I have been doing that for the last 9 weeks.
Many of you that have talked to me about Shakeology® mentioned the price. I would agree, it does seem pricey at first, but when you break it down to $4 a day it doesn’t seem so bad, especially when you think about replacing a meal with it.
