Insanity Day 1 Fit Test Results

Today I completed the initial fit test for Insanity. Here are the results.

Move Fit Test 1
Day 1
Switch Kicks 96
Power Jacks 40
Power Knees 55
Power Jumps 20
Globe Jumps 6
Suicide Jumps 13
Push-Up Jacks 20
Low-Plank Oblique 26

Overall I think I did alright. The most difficult thing for me was keeping count while doing these high-paced moves. I hope I counted each one correctly as the only one he specified was for the globe jumps. The most difficult move for me was the low-plank oblique.

It will be interesting to see how I do in two weeks when I go through this again.

Do you have a love/hate relationship with exercise?

I have been a reader of Anne Jackson’s blog Flowerdust for quite some time. I love her brutal honesty and her resolve to discuss some difficult topics. Her recent post I Thought It Was Love, But I May Have Been Wrong has become my new favorite.

Anne puts into words something many of you have been feeling about your fitness (or lack thereof)…maybe even about your life.

Insanity – Get Fit or Get Out

I’m finishing up my last two weeks of P90X. After I take a week of to recover I think I’ll take on Insanity. Looks fun, doesn’t it?
